Ran for 27 minutes at (if gmap running is accurate) 8 minutes a mile almost exactly. I was just under 3.5. I ran from my house--right across from the East High Track--up to the Foot Hill Library via 9th south, then down 13th, and across 17th back to 9th, and home.

As always I started pretty slowly... I realize more and more how inertia is a principle of psychology as much as it is of physics. Once I got going I felt pretty good, so when I started to flag at about 17 minutes I really tried to push it to the end. I didn't sprint, but I think the last 10 minutes were closer to my "Trying-to-keep-up-with-Taylor" pace, rather than my "Somehow-without-trying-all-of-the-other-first-year-runners-are-way-behind-me-(were the hills at liberty really that bad?)" pace. [moderately fast workout vs. a moderately fast cool down.]

I liked having 2 easy days back to back, I'm hoping when I get back from Powell I'll be all better from all ails.

PS Yeah...I slept A LOT
