Happy Birthday!

No where is the adage "it isn't where you go, but how you get there" more true than running. We ran from park A to park B to do strides, then back to park A to do circuits. Really?

But being a swimmer, I think I know how to cope with not actually going anywhere (1, 2, 3, 4, 5,....16, 17 flip, 1, 2, 3,.........)

Circuits aren't as bad as I thought they'd be... but that might be because I got a brief respite face down in the grass--Thanks Mr. Edwards!

I thought it would be better then staying the whole time in the same park, and we meet at Fairmont park sometimes, so I thought it would be a way for the newcomers to know where we meet at that park. Circuits are not that bad and we increase the time and sets as the summer progresses. I had planned to have the circuit after the strides and stretching in fairmont park while everyone was still together and the run back to sugarhouse would be a cool down to finish up. It is nice having you run, just wish you could have started a few years ago.

Happy birthday yesterday! Way to come to practice despite having become an adult now :) And I agree with Bill & Taylor today, too bad you didn't start running a few years ago.

It would have been fun for sure! (Ben said the same thing to me on Friday) I guess I just had to pick my battles, XC, play practice, debate, and swim all in the fall might have been a bit much :) ...maybe.
